Transcape Plumbing has carried out plumbing projects in South Africa and Botswana and has quoted on work as far as Tanzania. Whether working with the client directly or with project managers or engineers, we are able to assist with projects from inception to completion.
Transcape Plumbing carried out the plumbing works for the Hot Water Supply installation of a new game lodge in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. There are two systems that heat over 8000 liters of water per day for the guests, kitchens and staff village. 3 hot water ring mains ensure the water is delivered over 700m away hot and under pressure. Through New Southern Energy, who disigned and commissioned the systems, we were contracted to complete the system on time and on budget. Over 3 visits and countless wildlife encounters, we were able to achieve our targets. The challenges included, remoteness of the project, heavy seasonal rains and adjusted project deadlines. Principle builders, Lodge Builders Botswana were given the task of building the lodge and they were also our hosts during our visits.

Do you purchase everything?
These details vary according to the project. We add a reasonable percentage costs onto items that we procure and deliver to take into account the cost of providing plant and equiptment to site.
What areas do you not cover?
Any areas that we are advised not to by local authoritise or our government.
What warranty do you provide?
All warranties are project specific. We identify the risks involved with each project as well as the needs of the client to build a warrantee package that will suit the project and the client.
Are you insured?
We have full public liability and faulty workmanship cover for projects undertaken within South Africa's borders. Projects outside of South Africa are insured on an individual basis.
Transcape Plumbing carried out the plumbing works for the complete conversion of the Vincent Pallotti hot water systems from element and gas heating to heat pump heated water. The challenges we faced included the need for minimal disruption to hot water supply, age of system, scale and design of the existing systems within the hospital. Our work was completed on time and within budget. The principle contractors were New Southern Energy who sub-contracted us for the plumbing elements of the project.
Transcape Plumbing carried out the plumbing works for the conversion of the Bay View Hospital hot water system. We were contracted to install the new hot water storage and water pre-heat system as well as two new heat pumps and ring main circulation pumps. The system went live with minimal disruption and has been working well. The principle contractors were New Southern Energy who sub-contracted us for the plumbing elements of the project.
Sub-contracting to New Southern Energy, Transcape Plumbing helped design and installed the hot water requirements for Eagle Island Lodge. A 43 person staff village, 13 x two-person guest units, laundry area and main kitchen area were all provided for. We used a central store with 2 ring mains for the staff village. The guest unit requirements were met with 300l Energie Thermodynamic Hot Water Systems. Our challenges included the remoteness of the site, and ground temperatures that soared to 47degrees.
